some people.

there is always that one person that sticks out like a sore thumb, or that just gets under your skin and others, and you just don't know why. there is always someone who will piss you off with there immaturity and there lack of people skills. during the green brier race, i was reminded of that person in my life. after the race i spoke to a person who i had know for awhile (not going to name names...sorry). i told that person on how i had gotten 3rd in my class for my first race. i being a people person who is always talking to someone and congratulating them on their accomplishments figured that there would be some kind of congrats. but i was wrong.

there are people in this world that hold grudges against kids and other adults. this is extremely immature. i can not under stand how when working for this person for 6 or so months can not have a civil conversation with myself. while employed by this person i noticed how there were little things that set this person off. for example kids. this person has a hard time dealing with kids. when a kid would come into the store with out a parent it would be my job to chase the kid out, or if i wasn't able to get there and kindly ask them to leave the person I'm speaking of would tell me to go make them feel aqua rd or he him self would do that.

now how in the world can you justify this. yes little kids can break things and so on, but really come on is it worth kicking an kid out because you have personal trust issues?

this is one thing most people do, they allow there kid to go into a store and look and touch 9 times out of 10 nothing is harmed. the way some people handle this is to freak out and kick them out or stand over the family till they fell awkward and leave.

people skills in this world have hit an all time low and i just don't understand how some people can get off while being such an asshole.....

and just in case the person I'm speaking of reads this, witch i hope they do, i am not the only person who feels this way. many people i have spoken to recently have told my self on how much of a dick you are towards people in general. this is not to make you look like the dick you are, but maybe and hopefully you will read this, step back take a look at how you are treating others and change your ways for the better.

green brier challenge

on 4/29 was the green brier challenge. this was a huge race held right here in Frederick MD the race was an Olympic qualifying race so a lot of the big names made there showing. the course was a 6 mile loop. the course is a mixture of nice not so technical single track to nice rock gardens and steep up and down hills.

i figured this would be a great first race and well it was. i raced in the beginner class but raced up and age group in the 19-29 class so i could do two laps instead of one. well needless to say I'm glad i raced up because i took 3rd in the class and my lap times were both faster the the one lap the 18-19 class did.

the race went really smooth of course it was hard but i didn't expect to do that well. i figured id do alright but not that well. the climbs defiantly killed me and that's what held me for 2nd or 1st. also the amount of riders around me kinda distracted me i wasn't to sure when to Chase or let the other classes by. but hey it was my first race i took 3rd got a cool medal and a bunch of free stuff so no complaints from me.

its been a while....

well for the past few months i haven't really gotten into much. works been good and the biking has kinda subsided for awhile. so now the spring is not so here yet...but according to the forecast it should arrive at the end of this week. so the biking should start up soon.

i have enlisted in the navy and have begone to train for that.... oh the push ups arnt they just so much fun?

one of my good friends enlisted in the the air force so hes been training with me so that's helpful. but i mean other then that and work its been pretty chill... but thought id post up just to let everyone know I'm still here just nothing to exciting going on.

well I'm now 18. but there's really not all that much to be excited about. ok yeah now i can buy cigarettes, but i don't smoke. and now i can buy porn... man that's sure what i plan to do from now on, NOT.

but now i have some more freedoms i can now vote and have a say in the public choices. also i believe I'm either going into the coast guard or the navy, so there's that. life has just began at 18 i can do more of what i want to do and be able to stand my ground on what i believe. although my rents could kick me out if i do to much bad but i don't think that will an issue.

at 18 is when my dad got outdoors more so I'm really looking forward to being able to do that. backpacking rock climbing and so on.

so now I'm 18 and who's knows whats next....

snow, snow , snow

well once yet again we got some snow. but this time it was much more, about 7-8 inches to be exact. that is a ton in comperision to what we got this year. the cool part was how much we got, it was cool to see all the snow coming down for hours. also we got out of school in the afternoon. the bad part is the fact that i didnt get out on my bike or get to go on my climbing trip. also i missed work, witch to most would be a good thing but to me it sucks because i like my job. but today the snow begain to mealt and it should be gone by wedsday witch is my b-day. so that will be nice.

No Skool

so were getting out of skool early today bc of rain and ice!!! WOOO I'm goin out with a friend after school to celebrate my b-day.

only thing that sucks is it crushes my plans for this weekend rock climbing trip. but hey there's always next week.

Rock Climbing

this coming Sunday if the weather is nice I'm planing on going into the Frederick water shed to go climb El rock. i have been rock climbing a whole bunch of times and I'm really looking forward to getting back out there. i have done a few climbs in the water shed, i didn't make a few of the climbs out there last year and now that I'm stronger i think i may be able to do better.

also i may be bringing a teacher from my high school Mr. Widmyer. i aid for him 3rd period and i had a class with him last semester. i think it would be pretty dame cool to climb with a teacher. also there are some other friends that are interested I'm coming but I'm not sure who i will bring because i need to know that they will be safe because the last thing i need is for someone to get hurt.

but like i said in my last post its spring and i try to do as much out doors as possible more so this year being its my senior year. i want to try and do as much as i possibly can. i have some float trips in planing to kayak the Potomac and the Monocacy, also biking the C&O in 1 day this summer and much more. so need less to say I'm really looking forward to no only this trip but many others.
